MAYBE BARTON SHOULD NOT HAVE JUST USED HIS HEAD TO MOVE THE BALL FORWARD

Never one to be left out of the spotlight for too long and just when you forgot what an odd complicated pain in the backside he could be , Joey Barton manages to outshine the seemingly bonkers Mario "kippers" Ballotelli and regain  THE MAN WITH THE BIGGEST CHIP ON BOTH SHOULDERS AWARD .
There has been a long line of previous winners of this title over the years , Roy Keane , Dennis Wise , Lee Bowyer and Craig Bellamy all of whom have sent the idiotometer through the roof in the past.
It will come as no surprise to read that footballers are not the sharpest tools in the box and many would fight their own granny if left in a room together long enough.
Joey Barton like most players before mentioned, can play the game extremely well. His on and off field antics thou have left him again searching for a new club and an even greater challenge of convincing the next club that he deserves a chance to resurrect his career.
Like Ballotelli, he seems to believe that his opinion is the most important and is never afraid to voice it .
On this occasion he might of had a point when criticising his club Newcastle United's lack of transfer activity through twitter, but he has a burgeoning reputation of causing division in the ranks and clubs need to act to prevent this affecting team morale so close to the start of the season.
Making your opinions known through twitter is one way of getting you attention . The problem is that Barton chose to single out his manager , Alan Pardew , who will be more surprised that Barton knew how to tweet at all. I don't suppose he will lose much sleep over the situation.
He has now been booted out after more insults were aimed at the club chairman .
It seems suspicous to me that Barton has engineered the verbal assault to gain a move away , it would be interesting to see which manager believes he has what it takes to handle a loose cannon with a serious amount of baggage that Barton sulks about with.
Newcastle will be better off without a player that Manchester City sold to them for £6,000,000 back in 2007 after he caused them no end of embarrassment.
