LIVERPOOL TO RISE AGAIN ?????

Along with the usual suspects gunning for league glory this year, there is a distinct possibility that the title race may again involve Liverpool , a once Goliath of not only English football, they were the greatest club side throughout Europe, no question.
In twenty years owners , managers and players have all failed to live up to the successes of the previous glorious past .
Liverpool fans have not witnessed the league winners trophy being held aloft by their heroes since the 1989-90 season. For a club of the stature of Liverpool to have gone this long without winning a Premiership crown is unacceptable.
This year the club has been reignited since the second coming of their own ' special one '.
Kenny Dalglish arrived back at Anfield in response to the departure of the very like-able Roy Hodgson , who struggled with the expectation like many before him and lost his job.
'KING KENNY' is the last manager to win the league title for the Merseysiders  . This is the trophy that the reds fans quite rightly regard as the most precious, especially now that their bitter rivals Manchester United have eclipsed the long-standing record and have now amassed 19 championship titles . More importantly maybe for both clubs, 12 of these have been FA Premier league so the balance of power has definitely shifted.
Liverpool are as big as 10-1 with the bookmakers to win the league this season , so that would suggest that other sides are better placed to mount a serious challenge to the thoroughbreds of Man Utd and Chelsea . They have been very busy obtaining new players and have spent an eye-catching colossal amount of money in a attempt to catapult themselves back to the very top .
New signings will always take time to bed in , but who better to galvanise a team than Dalglish , he has the full support of the Liverpool faithful and obviously the money men in charge after endorsing the spending spree to the tune of £100 million in 7 months .
All eyes will be on Liverpool this season and i think the league needs as many challengers for the title as possible, they look very exciting in the attacking areas and i wouldn't be surprised to see them finish top 3 at least.
The pressure will be on from the first whistle in a very tough premiership season and if these players can cope with being firmly exposed in the spotlight then come May 2012 Liverpool Football Club may be back up where they belong .
